Hey, all! Just wanted to check in and let you know that I'm still here...hanging on by a thread.

As I've explained to [livejournal.com profile] austin360 and [livejournal.com profile] pookha, for a few weeks now I have been feeling really, extraordinarily, horribly nauseous for pretty much most of every day. It's kind of debilitating. Getting to work every day is a Herculean task. No, scratch that. Getting through work every day is a Herculean task. Getting here just sucks.

I was feeling sort of good for a couple days, but that's over with, and I'm back to being really miserable. Also, exhausted. Also, very very WHINEY. ::whimper::

I'd better get a cute baby out of this.

Anyway, wanted to let you all know I'm still here, trundling on.

Hope you are all well. I promise to catch up as soon as I can.

So. I've been really out of the loop, and I apologize for that. First there was family drama, which some of you were forced to hear about, and then there was work drama (they're still doing the live-monitoring, but since I'm on lunch right now, I'm taking a chance). And basically, what with one thing and another, I've flaked out on y'all these past couple of weeks.

But I hope you will forgive me.

Cut for spoilers. )

Logging on for the first time in...how long? (And sneaking on, at that. They can try, but they can never defeat my love for y'all!)

All my extra icons are gone...gone...gone forever! Argh!

But I'm logging on in honor of Election Day, and in honor of you, my friends. I know we're all out there voting today and spreading the liberal love, and I wanted to be sure to let you know I was thinking of you all, here in the state where Bush has the second largest lead over Kerry in the nation. Pfft.

It truly is a privilege to be allowed to vote; a fact I didn't entirely understand when I was 18 and eligible, but which I understand and cherish now. And no matter the outcome of this election (oh please oh please please please, God), I am proud to be a liberal feminist American voter who voted her heart and her conscience today.

Thus endeth my minute on the soapbox.
