austin360 basically detailed out all my problems with last night's Oscars. Chris Rock? I like him, but I don't think his humor worked for the Oscars. And there was freakin' way too much Beyoncé. Why aren't her 15 minutes over? Why is she still being shoved down my throat? (See also: Puff Daddy, or whatever he's calling himself these days.)

The high points were Morgan Freeman's win and, of course, Cate Blanchett's. She looked stunning, as usual. I didn't care overly much for 'The Aviator,' but I loved her in it. I love her in everything. Emma Thompson is secure in her spot as my most adored actress, but the Mesdames Winslet and Blanchett are very close behind her. Speaking of which, Kate Winslet was a goddess in that blue dress.
