Not much to say these days. I'm doing okay. S started his new job and is very happy with it. We are still working on a way for me to stay at home. Small Anne seems to have begun teething, in earnest this time. Friday she had a fever of 100.2 and was unbelievably cranky, but by the next morning she was back to normal.

It is getting hotter here and I hate it. I bloody hate summer.

I'm not sure if I like this new layout, but we'll see. I wanted something new. I feel like making changes--big ones, little ones, important ones, insignificant ones.

I've gotten into Last Comic Standing and I can't WAIT for the summer season of Project Runway.

My friend J, who freaked me out by going MIA for a month, is planning on coming to visit in July. I am very excited about this, although I feel badly that we will not be able to do anything terribly exciting while she's here. She assures me it doesn't matter to her and she's coming to see us and the baby, and I believe her. And I know that if the situation were reversed I would be perfectly happy to come see her and for us not to do a damn thing, but I still feel kind of guilty that she's going to spend all this money on a plane ticket and we won't be able to show her a fun time.

I'm in kind of a weird mood today.
